Introduction:

This section is devoted to the genealogical research of the ancestors and descendants of my grandparents Gerald Ernest and Gladys Mabelle (Hooper) Smith.  Gladys Smith inspired me to begin this most addictive pastime and helped to kick off this research in 1994, just prior to her death at age 91.  

Together with my sister Donna, we have compiled a fair amount of genealogical and historical data about our ancestors who resided within the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada, five New England states, and New York. 

The primary tool for managing our genealogical database is John Steed's Brother's Keeper.    We now have in excess of 24,500 names in our database and are willing to share all with those searching the same.
